Ryan Cochrane Visit a Huge Success!!

The Perth Stingrays gave Olympian Ryan Cochrane a real small town welcome last Thursday night, with cheers and applause, as he approached the pool! Cochrane led the swimmers through dry land exercises, a multiple of drills, relays and then finished off with a motivational talk.  It was wonderful to see two Canadian Olympians on our pool deck, Ryan Cochrane and Nancy Sweetnam. Thank you Coach Rod for organizing this amazing event-what a great way to kick off the 2016-2017 swim season!

Registration Now Open!

Thank you all for being patient as we needed to set up a new Registration system this year. Our previous system was being discontinued so we are moving to a system called Team Unify. This system is being used by almost all of the swim teams in Eastern Ontario and is set up to meet the needs of Swim Teams only. The big advantage for you is that it will truly be a "one stop shop" ie. you will go to one place for registration, online meet entry and general team information. We can send emails out to families directly from the system and we will most likely move away from using this blog tool. Please ensure ALL your contact information is correct when you first login.

For registration in the Competitive and Para programs (Bronze I, Bronze II, Silver, Gold, Age Group, Senior, Para), you will receive an email in the next day with login information to do your registration. If you do not receive an email, then just go to this link and select "Competitive and Masters Registration" on the right of the page and follow the instructions. Please ensure ALL your contact information is correct. We will be doing all communications from our Team Unify tool.

For Masters registration, you will follow the same process as the competitive groups except that you will choose Masters 1 x week, 2 x week or 3 x week and the fee is set accordingly.  Just go to this link and create an account and follow the prompts. There was no way for us to customize this setup for Masters completely, so you will need to enter "Father Information" and "Mother Information"  - just fill it in with a repeat of your information, and all of the waivers that the competitive swimmers sign.

For the Introduction to Competitive Swimming registration go to the new home page here and then select "Intro to Comp" on the horizontal menu bar across the top of the page just under the Perth Stingrays name. You will automatically be place on the "Waitlist" until Head Coach Rod has done all of the assessments and you are placed in one of the two groups. There are two different sessions, 4:25 to 5:10 and 5:15 to 6:00, and when you register you can pick which one you prefer. We will try to accommodate your request but it will depend on the overall number of registrants and their ability levels.

Note that your first payment will be charged to your credit card when you register. If you choose the monthly payments, you will be charged on the first day of the month.

Please contact Shannon Baillon at thebaillons@gmail.com if you have any questions or issues.
