> Thank you very much to everyone who came out to the workshop on Saturday. I think everyone found it a useful addition to the online Stroke and Turn clinic. A very special thanks to our four swimmers (Courtney, Lauren, Caleigh and Rory) who came to demonstrate the strokes, the turns and common errors. A quick reminder to everyone that you will still need to complete the online course and quiz.

> By now everyone will have received their swimmer's meet ballot for the Mike Brown meet. There is a second page attached to this ballot for on deck volunteers. This MUST be completed as well.
> I will be using those ballots to set the grids for each session of the meet

> The Stingrays have been asked by the regional swim officiating body to pilot a new online registration system for signing up to officiate at swim meets. It is accessed by logging on to your OSOA account ( www.osoa.ca ) There is a tab at the top called "meets" (!); click on that and find the Mike Brown Invitational meet. You can sign up for positions there as well. I'd be grateful if you could take a look at the online system as this is potentially how most meets are going to be done in the future. That being said, I will be using the ballots you fill out as my primary source.

> This is a good opportunity to remind everyone that they should be looking at their OSOA accounts and updating their information, including any deck sign offs they may have achieved. It is also a good opportunity to do a different online course and try out new deck positions.
