More Officials’ clinics: Amherstview

Hello Stingrays families! If you weren’t able to make it to the October 1 clinics in Ottawa, there will be another opportunity in Amherstview (Home of the Barracudas) on October 15th and 16th.  Given that the clinics are no longer online, these opportunities to do additional clinics are not to be missed!.  See the notice below. 

I will be running an Intro to Competitive Swimming/Time Keeper (level 1) clinic (hopefully) on Saturday, October 21st during the team practice.  I will also look to having a Stroke and Turn clinic in November or December before our Mike Brown meet in January.

When:  Saturday October 15^th, 2016 and Sunday October 16^th, 2016

Where: W.J.Henderson Recreation Center, 322 Amherst Drive, Amherstview, ON.  K7N 1S9

Clinics Leader: Brad Coens, Level V Official and President of EBSC swim club.

Clinic Date: Saturday October 15^th    

9:15am - 11:50 am

Morning clinics run concurrently, you can kindly attend one clinic per time slot

·     Intro to Swimming/Time Keeper (level  I) – Lower Board Room

·     Judge of Strokes/Inspector of Turns – Library Board Room

(Judge of Stokes and Turns Clinic, Level II & must have completed Time Keeper clinic)

12:00 pm-12:50 pm       LUNCH BREAK

1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Afternoon clinics run concurrently, you can kindly attend one clinic per time slot

Level II Clinics:

·     Chief Finish Judge/ Chief Judge Electronic– Lower Board Room

·     Chief Timer– Library Board Room

(Starter Clinic level II -Must have completed 3 clinics)

v Please register on EBSC website (Events and clinics) or by contacting EBSC official Chair (Sahar Mohamed) through email (officials@ernestownbarracudas.net or saharzaza@hotmail.com). Identify the clinic you will attend in the morning or afternoon session along with your full name, swim club and email to register for an Officials Clinic.

     Kindly attend one clinic in morning and/ or on clinic in the afternoon.
