Stroke and Turn Clinic (Level 2)

There will be a Level 2 Stroke and Turn clinic conducted on Friday November 29th at 4 pm (to coincide with the the swim practice) held at the pool in the multipurpose room. This will be the classroom portion of the course. I will run a brief "on deck" session on Saturday November 30th at 8 am with some of our senior swimmers demonstrating the strokes, the turns and some common errors which can occur.

The Stroke and Turn judge has an important role on deck. They monitor what is happening in the pool and ensuring that the swimmers are doing the strokes correctly. If you are a little nervous about this role, that's pretty normal. I hope to demystify things with the "on deck" session. If you wish, you can do the course online ahead of time and just come for the Saturday session.

To sign up for the "classroom" portion, log on to your account on the OSOA website, www.osoa.ca and click on clinics. You should see the clinic there to sign up.
For the "on deck" portion, please just drop me a note via email at smuldowney@me.com

See you on deck!
